Developing a Professional Image and Etiquette

Spark Image Consultancy presented a seminar titled "Develop Good Etiquette & Create a Professional Image" at Hong Kong Baptist University on 25 June 2016 in WLB104 (Shaw Campus) at 2:15pm.

The session was led by Ms. May Chan, an alumna of HKBU who holds a Master in Strategic Human Resources Management and is one of the few certified image trainers in Hong Kong. The seminar examined how non-verbal communication—image, body language and etiquette—contributes to positive first impressions in business settings.

Combining inner and outer skills, the programme offered practical guidance that participants could apply immediately in the workplace. Key learning outcomes included understanding the definition of a professional image, mastering the three core components that create a positive first impression, dressing and grooming appropriately for different business situations, practical dressing tips to enhance presence, and essential aspects of business etiquette for personal and professional success.
