Representing Hong Kong at the AICI Conference

Being invited to speak at an international conference is a meaningful milestone for any consultant. In April 2019, May Chan of Spark Image Consultancy presented at the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) global conference in Chicago, where she shared practical guidance on becoming an image consultant for international fashion brands.
AICI is the largest professional body for image consultants, with members in over 40 countries. At the conference, the focus was on transferable skills and strategies that allow consultants to operate confidently across different markets. May emphasized that progress on the international stage depends not only on effort, but on clear, effective strategy—especially for those who do not start with obvious advantages.
