Sustainable Dressing: Reuse Your Fashion

Spark Image Consultancy, founded by May Chan, was honored to be invited by Earthlings Toastmaster Club to present on sustainable dressing under the theme “Reuse Your Fashion.” The session explored why prolonging the life of clothing matters and how small, thoughtful choices can reduce environmental impact.

Reusing fashion is both practical and creative: repair and tailor items to extend wear, exchange or borrow for special occasions, and build a capsule wardrobe of versatile pieces. Thoughtful laundering and storage also preserve garments and reduce replacement frequency. These approaches help individuals lower their personal footprint while maintaining a polished image.
